Mariners
are advised that the annual “Wye Island Regatta,” is scheduled to
occur on the Wye and Wye East Rivers on September 12, 2015,, from 8
a.m. to 12 Noon. Approximately 50 participating vessels (6 to 60 feet
in length) will be rowed or paddled along a 13.1 mile counter
clockwise course around Wye Island, MD. The start and finish will
occur at Wye Landing, located at the confluence of the Wye and Wye
East Rivers. Participants will be accompanied and supported by
sponsor provided watercraft.
